Privacy Policy
A single policy for our iOS and Android apps.
This page is the shared Privacy Policy for mobile apps published by Sardis Studios (“we”, “us”).
It contains platform-specific sections for iOS and Android. Your app may link directly to the relevant section below.
Privacy Policy (iOS) Privacy Policy (Android)
- We build with privacy-first principles and request permission when required by the operating system (e.g., photo library, camera).
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your data for advertising.
- We aim to minimize data collection and keep processing on-device whenever possible.
Data you choose to provide
- Early Access / Beta signup (optional): If you choose to join an early access or beta program, we collect your email address so we can provide early access, invite you to beta testing, and send product updates. We do not sell or share your email address. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
- In-app questionnaire / survey responses (optional): When you choose to complete an in-app questionnaire, we collect the responses you submit, which may include the question text shown in the app, selected answers, free-text responses, screenshot choices, and the order of your responses.
- Photos / Media (optional): If an app feature needs access to your photos/camera, we request permission through iOS/Android. We process media only to provide the feature you requested.
- Support communications (optional): If you email us, we receive the information you include (such as your email address and message content).
Data processed automatically
- Basic device/diagnostic data: Like most mobile apps, our apps may process limited technical information (e.g., device model, OS version, language/locale, crash diagnostics) to help with stability and support.
- Questionnaire app and device data: To operate, analyze, and improve the questionnaire experience, we may collect limited app and device information such as app ID, app name, app version, build number, platform, locale, country, city, device manufacturer, device model, Android version, SDK version, and a Firebase Analytics app instance identifier when available.
- Analytics (optional): Some apps may use privacy-respecting analytics or crash reporting services (for example, Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics) to understand performance and fix issues. Where used, these services may collect identifiers and diagnostic data as described in their own policies.
How we use survey and device data
- We use survey submissions and related app/device data to store and process questionnaire submissions, analyze responses, understand product usage and user feedback, improve the app and survey experience, prevent duplicate submissions, and diagnose technical issues.
- We may share this information with service providers that help us operate the app and store survey data, including Google Firebase / Google Cloud and our metrics backend service.
- We do not sell your survey data.
- We retain survey submissions for as long as reasonably necessary for product analysis, troubleshooting, reporting, and legitimate business purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- If you want to request deletion of a survey submission or have questions about this data, contact us at [email protected].
AI / external processing (only in some apps)
Some apps may send content (for example, an image you select) to third-party AI services to generate a result you requested (for example, identification or description). When this applies:
- We send only what is required to provide the requested feature.
- We do not use your content for advertising.
- Third-party providers process the content according to their terms and privacy policies; where available, we prefer paid tiers/settings intended to limit provider retention and training.
